There's Nothing Wrong with Hard Work

In the midst of interim reports, I realize that you Grade 11's have come a long way. In Grade 9, there were probably double the number of students with 3 or more n's. That's amazing. Most of you have the capability and desire to work hard and to succeed in your courses. This work ethic will serve you well in life and it will get you where you want to go. If you tend closer to the lazy side, you will pay the consequences for this.

The end is near. In less than two years, you will hopefully be graduating and beginning a life as a young adult. If you work hard and get the best grades possible, you will have many more doors open to you. If you slack off, you may not graduate, or you may be playing "catch-up" in summer school. The choice is yours. Personally, I would love to see all of you graduate and it will be a proud moment for all of us. Hard work is what will make this happen and there's nothing wrong with hard work.
